The first time Liliana heard that Deanna was secretly planning a kidnapping attempt on her, incredulity flooded her heart.

The bearer of the news was Mr. Nian. He was a leader for a bodyguard sub-unit in the Ding family's security team.

"Fourth Young Miss, do you have any plans to meet Young Master Xin soon? I've something unpleasant to tell you."

Liliana was initially perplexed before Mr. Nian started explaining what he had found out. The discovery was sudden.

After the banquet where Liliana unearthed the truth regarding the Xin family, Old Master Ding began to place eyes on them. The intention was to be alert if Thomas or anyone in the Xin family attempted to retaliate.

Despite being swallowed by rage, Thomas didn't try to sully Liliana's name further. He focused on mending the broken reputation caused by his previous misdeeds. It seemed like he listened to Old Master Ding's warning well.
