Bab 106: Scream Bloody Murder

Christopher nearly ruined her relationship. Nessa knew that kiss had narrowly stopped Damon from hitting that son of a bastard. 

Thanks to that incident, Damon warned her never to go near Chris again. Even if they found their way in the same corridor, she should turn her back and leave or go the other way - if there was one - even if it wasn't her destination. 

Although the rule was unnecessary and overwhelming, Nessa simply agreed to it to please him. Moreover, she made up her mind already, she and Christopher were done. Well, not that there was something between them in the first place. 

Today, Nessa leaned over the kitchen counter, whiling away time by playing games on her phone while Adrian was in the living room, holding a live video for his fans - she wondered what they saw in him - while their mother was going through the fresh ingredients in the fridge.
