Earlier, Butler Mendez, Captain Dylan, Ellenair, and the guards stood frozen in shock as they realized that the many creatures they had expected to find were now gone.

Fear gripped their hearts, tightening like a vice.

Just as despair threatened to consume them, a noise broke the heavy silence, jolting them back to reality.

Their first instinct was to run away from the unknown dangers that lay ahead, and Ellenair suggested just that.

However, Butler Mendez, determined to find the missing Young Baron Wallace, shook his head, and he could not be stopped.

"If none of you don't want to go, then I would do it on my own…"

If the young Baron died in this dangerous Crawlee forest, not only would they lose him, but the survival of the town and its people would be at stake.
