Bab 1: How I meet your mother?
Inside a dimly lighted room, a girl laying on the ben while her father caresses her light-black hair. Next to the bed, a night lamp shaped like a jack o lantern shines. When the father of the little girl leans towards the lamp to turn it off, he stopped by the voice of the little girl:
-Father, can you tell one last tale? I promise this one will be the last!
Said the little girl. Upon hearing His sweet daughter's question Mr. Nelson sighed and look inside his daughter's emerald green eyes. 'Just like her mother's eyes' he thinks and starts to talk:
-Morgana, this is what you said before the final 2 stories I tell.
Said, Mr. Nelson. Morgana's answer comes quickly:
-Then tell me how you meet with my mother.
Mr. Nelson takes a deep breath and words come one after another.
-I was 25 years old and a new graduate from computer engineering and mechatronic engineering. I take a double license, so your dad is awesome.
-Father!
-Ah, yes where I stop? Double license, yes. After graduating, I start to make a video game with my pals from college. All of us love good fantasy stories like Lord of the Rings, and myths like Greek myths, Scandinavian myths, Egypt myths, and many others. Under the lights of DnD, Runescape, Morrowind we start to create our game. We use myths of old and make new stories for our game. Magic and everything related to it in the game will be my responsibility so I started my research. She appeared in front of me as a writer who also research about myths and magic. With milk-white skin (A.N: Jade-like!) and pitch-black hairs just like yours, wearing a white throat collar sweater and purple glasses she is the most beautiful woman I have ever see. After I stare at her near 5 minutes she used a fake cough to get my attention and ask me about the book I read. The thing is both of us need the same book for our research and neither of going to give it another. Even though she is a beauty... So I offer research together. We both have some data the other side doesn't so we both will benefit from it. We research and discuss together magic and how can it be used. First in libraries, then cafes and after a month we are dating in a restaurant. Another two mount and she said swans give her a message about you so I propose marriage to her... This how I meet your mother.
Realizing her father going to finish the story, Morgana asks him:
-Then, what happened after?
Already seeing trough her thinking, Mr. Nelson laugh and says:
-That is my dear, story for another day. Now sleep well. Tomorrow your seventh birthday and I have a special story to tell you about your mother for your birthday.
Upon hearing this Morgana looks toward her father with sleepy eyes and said:
-Good night dad.
-Good night sweetie.
===Next morning===
( Morgana's POV )
I wake up with knocking noises coming from the door of my room. With an '' I am coming in sweetie'' door starts to open silently. I can see dad's round glasses which looks like ready to fall at any given moment and his wavy light brown hair is not combed yet. He has this beard that he calls '' the mad scientist beard '' and he is proud of it. But this cannot stop him from screaming after he step on my lego. Hehe, he looks funny...
Mr.Nelson: Ahh! Sweetie, aren't we talk about legos and their place?
I should distract him before he punishes me!
Morgana: Daddy, you drop your glasses.
Mr.Nelson: Oh, thanks, sweetie. But this will not enough to stop your punishment. As the supreme judge of house Nelson I Alexander Nelson found you guilty of making a lego boobie trap, thus your punishment will be thirty seconds of tickling and an extra lesson of Latin.
Morgana: But, but today is my birthday! You said there will be no lessons on birthdays!
Mr.Nelson: Hımm. So be it. Your extra Latin lesson will be postponed to tomorrow but you can't escape from tickling. Hahahahaha! Now prepare yourself, my dear daughter, here I come!
After that comes 30 seconds of merciless tickling. When her father stops Morgana can't even feel her cheeks from too much laughing. Taking a few deep breaths, Morgana gets up from the bed and goes to wash her face while Mr.Nelson starts to prepare breakfast. Pancakes with Nutella and a glass of cold milk, what more could a human hope for?
When Morgana was washing dishes her father took out some papers, a dice, and a notebook named adventure book. this is Morgana's solo DnD adventure based on Greek Myths. He prepared this for her when she was six and they started playing it every weekend.
Seeing what her dad prepares Morgana runs to her room and starts to search the insides of her wardrobe like possessed. Ten seconds later she came down back to the living room with a witch hat and a toy dagger. Because you can't play a roleplaying game without a costume. That would be silly, right?
Confirming Morgana is ready, Mr.Nelson starts the game... Every time he thinks about the game he makes for his daughter he feels like a genius. Thanks to this idea of his, his daughter could learn about mythical creatures and their weaknesses, how to judge the situation, make appropriate decisions while having fun, and having bonding time with him. Lots of birds with one stone. It is only a game to his daughter but he still remembers what his wife said before leaving and what challenges she must face. As a father, he will prepare his daughter as best as he could even though he is only a mortal who can't even see past the mist.
After five hours of adventure, Mr.Nelson look towards Morgana and spoke:
Mr.Nelson: Morgana do you remember what I told you last night?
Morgana: The story about mother?!
Mr.Nelson: Yes, about that. I want you to come with me, we will go to the attic. There is a surprise and the story both waiting for you.
Morgana: Okay daddy! I wonder what the surprise is?
Mr.Nelson: You will see.
