Bab 13: Thor's Battle

Thor slowly made his way to the arena while thinking of what he should do. 'I shouldn't use my True Ice Swords for one because using them would be overkill to the point one strike would likely freeze him to death not to mention that seeing them people might trying killing us or threatening me with grandpa and grandma to get them, so that leaves my fire and ice magic as well as my Lightning Stand.'

A/N: As I've seen some of you call it a stand lol

'Let's just use a little bit of Ice at the start to show them I'm Iceborn before cremating them' Thor decided as he hopped into the arena. His opponent came lumbering out behind the cell and what Thor saw was a big fucker at least 7ft tall with heavy armor on leaving practically nothing unprotected with a battle axe in his hands. 'Of course they give me the big guy that's over two fucking feet taller than me' Thor thought as he got in a stance that put his legs shoulder width apart while his right foot was a little forward and his left a little back so he was as stable as possible while having good acceleration back or forward. Although it seems him getting in a stance without pulling out his weapons made people think he was about to fight that big monstrosity bare handed.

As he got ready the match started with the big guy taking slow steady steps toward Thor and unluckily enough this isn't a open terrain where he could back up or find an advantageous situation no instead its a hole in the ground where that guy is gonna just try tanking any of the damage Thor throws at him while just needing one hit with his axe for Thor to be over. 'Well to bad for you big guy that is not how this will turn out' while giving a smirk he held out his two hands to his sides and the crowd went into shock, not only did they see powerful ice magic that only Iceborn should be able to wield but they also saw something unheard of. A beautiful pale blue flame that looked as dangerous as it was mesmerizing.

'Oooh I know let's make him Dr. Doom 2.0' Thor thought before he unleashed a large wave of fire that swept across the pit and you could hear the grunting from the soldier in the armor as he was essentially being cooked alive but it seems his armor provided some amount of protection against heat but that wasn't important to Thor. In but a couple seconds muffled screams were heard from the middle of the fire that seemed to circle around the source of the noise before Thor let off the gas on his fire and instead put a big chunk of his remaining mana into his ice and fired it on the where the soldier should be. This created a lot of steam from the extreme heat cooling so fast and coming into contact with the Ice not to mention that this is the freljord so its constantly very cold so you could easily feel the heat still emanating off the center of the arena.

The surroundings were quiet as they saw that what was left from the Noxian soldier was what honestly looked like a stone statue. Thor sauntered over to it before giving it a good knock and it crumbled to just pieces of rock and possible flesh but you know let's not go into that. Thor, seeing how quiet everyone was wanted to yell 'ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!!!!'

but held himself back.

The crowd after a good couple minutes were still shocked even when he looked at the Warmothers they were also in the same state as the rest. 'Maybe I went a little too far?' Thor started thinking but quickly changed that thought when the crowd started going wild and screaming his name "THOR!!! THOR!!! THOR!!! THOR!!!" and that got to the point where Thor's ears were starting to hurt with how loud they were.

"QUIET!!!!!" one of the guards next to the Warmothers yelled but you could see that he was just as excited as the rest. "*Cough* Well that was certainly an incredible match where we got to see something truly incredible" Grena stated "Yes in all my long years of life I have never seen something so magnificent. Not only are you Iceborn like the great select few in the Freljord but you also have a type of magic never seen before" Hejian said with what can be only called stars in her eyes which made Thor astonished as he didn't think it was possible for that old hog with a stone cold face to have any other expression.

A/N: For those who don't know or forgot, Magic in the Freljord is revered

"Young Thor you have shown us something incredible and done it in a way that shows that you will be a great person in the future. Is there anything you desire and if we have it we will not be against giving it to you" Grena said while giving Thor a smile. Thor had to sit and think if there was anything he needed or wanted that they could give without it being too much but in the end couldn't think of anything. "Warmothers Grena and Hejian I am sorry to say that I do not know of anything I could ask for but if you insist on giving me something then I would accept whatever you deem worthy"

Hearing this both Warmothers glanced at each other in thought before coming to an answer for the time being. "As you have no specific desires and we want to find the suitable reward for you we will wait until the day that we have something worthy of your display" In truth both Warmothers were thinking of ways to get him tied to their tribes and what better way than marriage but that is not ideal to mention right now as although arranged marriages are incredibly common in the freljord between tribes, in a lot of cases they end up bad or unhappy like with Hejian's daughter who is Sejuani's mother.

With the end of the battles it was midday but too these people it's never too early to party and feast. Whereas normally Thor would be off in a corner Chilling out and minding his own business now he was at the center of attention with people giving him mead, talking, laughing and he was kind of just stuck there and had to deal with it while his grandparents were off to the side enjoying the atmosphere.
