Bab 5: Discussing

*Knock Knock*

"Boy time for breakfast" Eorlund's voice comes from behind the door. Thor slowly opens his eyes "ok I'm coming" 'I feel refreshed, maybe because I circulated my mana before bed' Thor thought as he got up and headed down stairs to the table filled with food of what was eggs, bacon and some freshly baked bread 'well I shouldn't be surprised that they have eggs and bacon it's not like that's a modern thing' Thor thought to himself while having a silent chuckle as he sat at the table.

"Boy before we start eating we were wondering why you were in that storm and where your family is?" Eorlund asked while looking at Thor. 'What do I tell them? Maybe that I was an orphan and I got stuck in the storm while playing or maybe that I don't remember and just use memory loss as an excuse? I'll just say memory loss and keep it simple.' "Um I'm sorry I don't remember who my family is or where I came from all I remember is my name is Thor'' Fralia and Eorlund look surprised but then have a look of pity on their face "I'm sorry to hear that little one, how about till you get your memories back or you are old enough you stay here. I'm sure Eorlund doesn't mind either" Fralia says while giving a look at Eorlund who nods immediately "Ay we will be happy to have you" Thor just looks on in mild astonishment as he didn't think he wouldn't even need to bring it up and they would already decide that he can stay for as long as he wants "Thank you very much Grandma Fralia and Grandpa Eorlund" Thor says while giving a small smile.

After that talk everyone quietly ate their food in a comfortable silence till they were finished. "Grandpa Eorlund, can I learn smithing from you and how to fight?" Eorlund looks at Thor for a couple seconds before saying "I don't mind teaching how to be a smith and how to fight but it will be hard, as you aren't strong enough for smithing yet I'll have to teach you the theoretical knowledge first while slowly building up your body which will be good for both smithing and fighting. So are you sure you want to go through with that?" Eorlund says while looking at Thor seriously "I'm sure grandpa" As Thor says this Eorlund gives a small smile "Good starting tomorrow ill start teaching you how to smith and give you some exercises you can do to give you a strong and sturdy body" 'Nice I can't wait to make my own swords'

*Beep*

[New Mission]

'Oh a mission nice, system show me the new mission'

[Mission: Make your first sword]

[Requirements: Make a sword Eorlund deems acceptable]

[Time limit: Before Eorlund becomes disappointed in you for not meeting his expectations]

[Reward: 1 ticket for a random grade smithing talent]

'That's a good mission and it will be hard to disappoint Eorlund considering how young I am so as long as I put in the effort then this will be easy'

"You should also learn sewing and craftsmanship from Fralia boy, those skills come in handy in stitching yourself up and making your own clothes and armor" Eorlund says while nodding at me "I'd love to learn from Grandma Fralia as long as she's ok with it" Thor says before looking at Fralia waiting for her answer "Hahaha of course I don't mind little one, I'll teach you what that old man said and how to survive in the wild, what's edible and what's not, what things are useful and how to cook some delicious food"

*Beep*

[Mission: Make your own set of clothes]

[Requirements: Make your own clothes that Fralia deems acceptable]

[Time limit: Not applicable Fralia is too nice]

[Reward: 1 general craftsmanship talent]

A/N: By general craftsmanship talent I mean a talent that will be useful for all crafting professions. Also give me some ideas on some talents that fit smithing and general craftsmanship. I already have some in mind but if I like yours better I'll use it.

The rest of the day proceeded with Thor talking with Eorlund and Fralia and getting to know them better till it was bedtime and Thor circulated his mana before he was exhausted and went to sleep anticipating the start of his apprenticeships the next day.

Author here, sorry for the late chapter got distracted playing games with friends and watching anime but you guys don't have to worry I will release a chapter everyday and If for some reason I can not I will inform you all like I've done before.
