Bab 546: A Pawn

Ten minutes later, Cynthia appeared in front of Tristan in a sporty outfit. A white top paired with black sports pants, a casual combination that still caught the eye.

"Where are you going?" Tristan asked.

"The casino," Cynthia replied, raising on her toes to plant a soft kiss on his lips. "Rest early, no need to wait for me."

With that, she walked straight toward the door.

Tristan frowned slightly and pulled out his phone, dialing Carl's number.

Exiting Santal Palace, Cynthia spotted the car parked on the side of the road. She walked over, opened the door, and gracefully settled into the car. "How much does Claudia's brother owe in gambling debts?"

At her question, Jacob looked at her with a half-smile. "Not much, just exactly ten million..."

Hearing this figure, Cynthia's eyebrows relaxed slightly. But the next moment, Jacob blurted out, "...in US dollars!"
