Bab 555: The Wen Family Encounters Trouble (1)

In the next few days, the Wen family encountered a bit of trouble.

It wasn't a massive issue, however, it was still rather bothersome.

Cai Qinyue hit someone whilst driving. The person that she hit ended up hospitalized.

Cai Qinyue was the one to blame for the accident. She wanted to settle the matter privately with the other party, however, the other party insisted on going to court.

After asking around, Cai Qinyue realized that the person she hit had considerable influence.

It wasn't about the money. Rather, it was about not offending influential individuals in Beijing. The Wen family did not want to be involved with unnecessary problems.

And thus, if someone could act as a mediator to reconcile the matter, the problem would be solved easily.

However, it was quite difficult to find someone to do this.
