Bab 289: My love is my superpower...

Theo's POV: 

I was more than willing to do everything that Serena told me. I am ready to become the King, and I will take care of the baby girl once she is born. But I also want to take care of Serena. I can't leave her here and run away. If Serena is in danger, then the baby girl is also in danger! I can't let that life die!

I reluctantly stood there without moving my muscles. Serena seemed to understand the real reason for my disobedience. Her shield was slowly wearing off, too, and she had to give out more strength to hold it together. 

"Listen to me, boy," Serena grunted. "Don't worry about me! I will be fine. Oberon is not going to kill me anytime soon. He wants the life that is growing inside me. Once it is born, he will use this life according to his will. You should not let that happen! I want you to go back to your realm and become the strongest warrior. Promise me that you will protect my child and this realm—"
