Even though they promised to remain loyal and faithful to each other, while they were separated, he'd felt something for another woman.

Later, he subconsciously found signs, that made him believe that his wife and the woman he felt attracted to were one and the same.

But when the purple-red clad female who was supposed to be his wife appeared in front of him, he felt nothing.

Believing he fell for another woman in his wife's absence, Crown Prince Lail felt too guilty and ashamed to confront his feelings. And when he came in front of his supposed wife, she felt too much of a stranger for him to properly communicate with her.

Thanks to Old Reehem's reminder, he realized something was amiss.
