After a few minutes, the sensation was gone. There are still many spiders occupying the tunnel. They are like bats with red eyes who have had their homes invaded.

The girl, Alicia, started to get tired of waiting for them to make a move. She didn't attack and knelt down to one of the two dozen bodies at her feet. She took a large bite but almost vomited it out when she tasted the same bitterness in the spider from her blood.
