Bab 228: Captured!

Azrael had to jump over to reach Selene in no time. Everything happened so fast. Fortunately, Azrael was able to pull Selene into his embrace when they fell to the ground.

Because of Azrael's interference, Selene was able to avoid mischief. Nothing bad happened to them, except for small abrasions on their arms and knees.

The driver apologized for what happened as he lost control of the steering wheel. The car's brake was not working as well. He brought the car to the shop for repair and to investigate the parts that malfunctioned.

The driver promised to compensate both Selene and Azrael. He shouldered the bill in the hospital where Selene and Azrael were brought for a check-up.

They had to ensure that they didn't get a serious injury. After the result came out, everything was just normal. The two were discharged from the hospital after treating their abrasions.
