Bab 64: I'd Love To Receive Such A Present
That late afternoon, Heisuke and Hisaki walked back to the apartment after clocking out. They walked along the same path they often took whenever they needed to go to work but, the mundane feeling faded because they were together.
Heisuke initiated them to hold hands which delighted Hisaki. She really loved to see his shy face every time he wanted to be closer to her.
"That scum! Thank goodness that girl wasn't harmed! He really didn't learn his lesson, huh?"
Hisaki was enraged to hear the reason behind the attack. She swung her fist up, her face twisted with fury.
If that trash was right in front of her, she might as well kick his crotch again! Don't let someone like him breed!
Heisuke let out a throaty chuckle. He glanced at her who looked so adorable in his eyes.
"The police have caught him. I'm more worried about him attacking you actually."
With Tsuyoshi's kind of personality, it might happen.

hansora Yayy, a date is coming! So, I won't write a separate chapter because it's really unnecessary. While we would still get there in future chapters, I will still explain it. Think of it as something we know but what our FL doesn't ;)
This is the explanation:
In his previous life, Heisuke saved a female colleague from being harassed by Tajima Tsuyoshi resulting in a fight. The scum injured Heisuke's head while fighting (the incident that he vaguely mentioned to Hisaki in their first life).
The incident is different but, the perpetrator is the same. This would be so helpful if Hisaki learns of this fact.
So, while Hisaki knows who betrayed Mari, it would certainly be a huge problem to prevent Heisuke from going to jail because she doesn't ever know the identity of the businessman who caused that (including the inside stories).
