Bab 20: Chapter 20

“Nothing.”

“You’re still mad about the bowling, aren’t you?”

“Well…yeah. I was looking forward to it.”

“I’ll make it up to you.”

“How?”

He finished his wine and placed the glass on the coffee table. “Spend the night with me.”

I stared at him, wondering if I’d heard him correctly. “What?”

He smiled, took the wineglass from my hand, and set it on the table beside his own. “Spend the night with me. I want to fuck you. Here. Now.”

I opened my mouth to say something, but I didn’t exactly know what tosay. Alex took my silence as an opportunity to slide onto my lap and straddle me. He put his hands on my shoulders and pressed his forehead to mine. “God, you have no idea how much I want you.”

I swallowed and cleared my throat. “Are you drunk again?”

He laughed. “I’m not drunk. I’m mostly sober and I’m totally serious.”
