Bab 10: Chapter 1 : Part 9
I didn't get much sleep on the train ride home, after Fuyumi and I walked back to my house. She got a call from Natsuo then she had to go home. I said goodbye to her then walked into my house. My parents were both waiting in the living room when I got back.
"(Y/n)! There you are! Look what just arrived!" My mom says as she waves an envelope in her hand my eyes widened in excitement when I notice the special UA seal on it.
"Go on and open it." My dad says in an impatient tone. I nod and took the envelope from my mom, I went up to my room to open it privately. After I shut my door I immediately opened it and a little hologram disc was inside, I sat at my desk and the disc played a holographic video.
"I am here as a projection!" said the famous number one hero on screen. "It is I All Might!"
'Oh my god All Might! It's him! It's really him!' I thought to myself before he continued speaking.
"I'm sure you must be wondering why I am broadcasting this recording to you, well as it turns out I wasn't in this city just to stop villains. But to become a new UA faculty member!"
'Whoa All Might's going to be a teacher at UA?!' I thought as All Might spoke to the cameraman.
"Anyway I wanted to say what an amazing thing you did taking on that giant robot so others could get to safety, that was very heroic of you and I'd like to congratulate you from making it in to UA young (Y/n) Yumiko. I look forward to seeing what kind of hero you will turn out to be." He says before the video cuts out and the disc turned off. A bunch of emotions were flowing through me. I was happy for getting in and also flattered that All Might complimented me, and I was excited that he was going to be a teacher at UA! I went back down stairs to tell my parents the good news.
"Well? What did the letter say?" My mom asked, they both looked at me anticipatedly, waiting for my response.
"I got in." I said happily and my mom hugged me.
"That's so great honey, congrats!" She said.
"Thanks mom." I looked to see what I thought was a small smile appear on my dads face. "...And thank you too dad, I wouldn't have made it this far without your help.." I said, he gave me a nod and hummed in agreement. "I'm gonna head upstairs and call Natsumi and tell her the good news." I look at them for approval before heading up to my room.
After entering my room I closed the door behind me while picking up my (F/C) Phone. I go through my contacts till I found her's. As It rang I laid down on my bed.
When she finally picked up she sounded a bit tired as if I just woke her up from a nap.
"Hey (Y/N)-chan! What's up? Are your parents fighting again?! Don't worry I'm on my way to come get you!" I giggled at her being worried about me.
"Whoa whoa! *giggle* I'm alright! I just have something really exciting to tell you!" I say to her and I hear her sigh in relief.
"Sorry, can't be too cautious. So what is it that you wanna tell me? Did you get together with Touya~?" She said teasingly, I rolled my eyes at her silly question. Even though I knew she didn't know the truth about Touya, my stomach still tightened when his name was mentioned..
"Nope." I said in a cheerful tone to cover up my pain.
"A girlfriend?"
"Guess again."
"Your parents gave you a pet dragon?!"
"W-What?! NO! I wish, but no." I said as I laughed at her accusation.
"Then what is it?" She asked, starting to give up guessing.
"I got accepted into UA!!" I said enthusiastically, completely forgetting about the knot that had formed in my stomach two seconds ago.
"OMG! CONGRATS (Y/N)-CHAN!" She said with excitement. "I'm so happy for you, I knew you could do it!" I giggled a bit and I could tell she was crying from happiness from the otherside of the phone.
"Thanks a lot for being so supportive of me, and always being there for me Natsumi-chan." I said with a warmhearted smile, I could feel my eyes start to tear up a bit.
"No problem, that's what family's for!" I smiled more at hearing this and wiped my happy tears. "*Giggle* You have no idea how much I want to crawl through this phone and hug you right now. I'm so proud of you."
"I know.. Thank you so much."
"You're welcome! Ah- grampa's calling me for dinner, talk to you later and good luck! Miss You!"
"Miss you too." I say before she hangs up. I wipe the rest of my tears away while looking over at the stuffed cat on my bed. 'I made it Touya..' I sighed happily.
