Bab 71: Chapter 71 Are You Even Human?

Just as she was contemplating, Eddison firmly tilted her chin towards him with his fingers.

The distance between both their faces was only about five centimeters and at that moment, their breaths intermingled with one another. 

"Caroline, can I kiss you?" Eddison asked in a low voice.

When his deep, timbre voice traveled into her ears, she couldn't help but shiver a little as her heart quickened. Before she could even respond, he was already kissing her. 

He kissed her with great care. However, Caroline remained unresponsive as her mind had gone blank from shock. A few seconds later, he stepped back and touched her lips gently with the tips of his fingers with a small smile. 

"Eddison, you promised that you wouldn't simply kiss me like that!" Caroline sputtered out angrily.

"Well yeah, I did. Didn't I ask you just now? You didn't refuse me so I assumed you agreed," Eddison said tenderly as he caressed her lips. 

Caroline was rendered speechless by that.
