Caroline thought about what he said. It sounded reasonable, so Caroline stopped thinking about it.

"Hurry up and finish your work. It's already 9:30 p.m., why are you always working overtime? What are your bosses doing? Don't they know how to properly delegate the workload?"

Eddison poked the tip of her nose and said, "You sound exactly like the wife of a president."

Caroline's face turned red. "Of course. I am pregnant with your child after all."

Eddison laughed. His sweetheart was always ready with a witty comeback.

To Caroline, love was love. She hoped that the person she fell in love with would have an open mind. She didn't want to have to walk on eggshells around her beloved.
