Bab 788: Guess Who's Back

Tension was suspended in the air as Mira waited for the strange man to drop his hood.

To be honest, she couldn't really care less about the actual identity of the one responsible. That was the kind of thing that she liked leaving to her parents. 

But she could tell that the Sister beside her was in quite the state of suspense.

Unfortunately, the man seemed to have other plans.

"...Apologies, Princess. I shouldn't just make it that easy for you."

Instead of reaching to pull down his hood, the man reached inside of it. He grabbed hold of the darkness partially obscuring his face and flung it outward. 

The darkness took shape on it's own. Becoming an army of dark creatures that quickly swarmed the area in less than a moment.

Ordinarily, no abyss creature would dare attack a named horror. Much less a child of Abaddon.
