Bab 148: Business Proposal

Mammon swore he'd misheard. 

He had to have, right?

Primordial demon kings make mistakes too you know? 

Just for clarification, he asked again. 

"Who... did you say your master was?" 

The maids spoke proudly in unison so that there would be no more confusion.

"We belong to lord Abaddon, The demonic dragon of lust."

Mammon gradually looked up at the city and began to put the pieces together bit by bit.

His disappointment quickly turned into utter frustration that was bordering on rage. 

The pact between the seven demon kings was treated as an unshakeable law. 

No matter what, they are not allowed to antagonize each other for any reason at all. 

That goes beyond physical disputes, it meant that he wasn't allowed to touch anything that was in his possession without his approval and vice versa. 

Mammon looked up at the city with the large tree swaying in the distance.
