Bab 55: Chapter 12

«Get rid of her! We do not need her anymore.» Samuel said, taking his newborn baby in his arms. His men instead grabbed that woman, still weak, and dragged her out of that room which, for nine months, had been her prison. When they took her life, she finally felt free. Her only regret was knowing that that monster would make her child like him, if he spared him. From the beginning, she knew that she would have no chance of raising him, nor of being able to hug him. Samuel had only used her because he needed to know, to know if the baby carried by that banshee could be threat to his plans. He didn't care, neither about that woman's life, nor about that child.

As the boy approached four years of life, Samuel found the answers he was looking for.
