"When did you get back?"

Wyatt held a bag of late-night snacks in his hand, "An hour ago."

Yale asked him, "Got a cigarette?"

"No."

Yale continued to stand.

"Aren't you going up?" Wyatt knew who he was there for.

"She probably doesn't want to see me."

Yale followed him into the residential area.

Wyatt handed Yale the key, "Apt 1803."

The elevator reached the eighteenth floor, but Wyatt did not get off, "I need to make a quick stop at the nineteenth floor, wait for me for a few minutes."

Yale got off the elevator first.

Wyatt went to Rae Bennett's place.
