Bab 25: Couple outfits
"Ahem" Hong cleared her throat slightly to draw Lao da and Liang' attention.
Hong and Jiayi were standing side by side with strange expression on their faces. the couple looked so adorable that made both of them smile in awe.
" like really, how can you guys be so adorable." Liang laughed and said teasingly.
They were wearing a black t-shirt with half white heart design in it. When they stood together it completes the heart. There was also initial of their names in it.
Hong rolled her eyes before running to her room for change of Clothes . As for Jiayi he was feeling pleasant because of Hong's shyness.
When he was leaving something catches his attention.
Liang was looking at Lao da with shiny eyes while Lao da was ignoring her giving an uncomfortable expression.
How can Jiayi miss this chance? He immediately take few pictures from his phone and send it to Hong as well.
"ding!" Hong received a message but it was not from Jiayi.
"Hong I'll be coming to check on you next month." it was hong's mother she texted a simple line because she knew even after giving heavy lectures her daughter won't listen a single word. And also she don't have to worry much about her. Hong was an intelligent Child and knows what's good for her. It's just that she is way too picky and don't get along with people.
When Hong was a teenager mother Lei still nagged her a little thinking that at least she'll keep it in mind but now she gradually saves her energy and let Hong live her own way. But not fully, she'll check on Hong time to time. As a mother she can't feel at ease as her young daughter is living alone in another city and with her nature she definitely won't ask for help to anyone.
Hong send a simple reply with "k" and tossed her phone aside.
When she came out of the room Jiayi, Lao da and Liang was sitting in Hall chatting happily.
" I can tell you about Hong secrets but you have to pay me back." Liang joked.
Jiayi whispered something in Liang's ears leaving Liang wide-eyed as she aggressively nodded in yes asThey made a deal.
Lao da had a bitter feeling currently. While Hong shook her head helpless upon seeing two big Kids.
Hong walked towards them drawing all the attention they all were looking at her curiously.
"what?" Hong asked confused. What happened to them in 5 minutes?
"we have some questions for you and you have to answer it." Lao da stated and gesture her to sit down.
Hong followed the suit as she raised her hands surrendering herself.
"How do you know I'll like the book? Even I didn't tell it to Jiayi about this book." Lao da asked curiously.
"Because... I'm little treasure." Hong said pausing for a while she knew Lao da wasn't curious but he was just testing her as for the reason why she don't know as well.
"That newbie author?" there was two people named little treasure he knows. And he only told about this book in his author chat group. So he guessed she is that newbie author who only uploaded a book and disappearing. No one knew about the author. But the author's online novel become popular in a week after publishing.
"Yes" Hong nodded.
"didn't we had an in-game friend called little treasure too." Jiayi said as he remembered little treasure, that guy was truly talented.
"Yep that's me." Hong replied as a matter of fact.
Both Loa da and Jiayi stared at her for at least a minute this time. So the two little treasure he know is actually one? But how's that possible?
"you must be kidding right?" Jiayi asked
" our little treasure was a boy." Lao da stated
"...." Hong. She used a guy voice because at that time she had just learned the technique of voice changing and she wants to test it.
"That I have changed my voice a little at that time." Hong said with the voice she used during playing games.
Jiayi and Lao da both gaped in surprise. They still can't believe the little treasure they knew was a girl and it was none other than Hong.
Now jiayi know how Hong made portrait of his character in game. Wait does it mean she liked him for years? Even before he met her? This question was something jiayi don't dare to ask her. He too don't know why but it was his instinct telling him to throw his curiosity into sea and never ever mention this in front of her.

"click!" flash light came from phone as Liang click picture of Lao da and Jiayi picture.

"Sir, Jiayi is taking a small vacation again. But we don't know if his assistant will be taking break as well or not. He personally announced to everyone that only she will only work for him no one else can give her work." the secretary informed old Man through phone call.
" send her photo to the shareholder with our offer. " the old man said calmly.
" Sir there's one more information... That Young master Anrui took a liking to this Assistant as well.... He knows about her already but we don't have any information what he is planning to do next. "
The old man listened to his secretary wordlessly now he is also curious about this girl.

A certain someone was replaying the video from party again and again where Hong (Jiayi) take the spiked drink in her hands and went to heir Hua.
" Ha! what a cunning fox!! ."he said to himself.
Anrui wasn't a play boy but the girl's intelligence make him appalled . She make it look like a coincidence even in video. No one can dare to say that she deliberately put her glass on the table for him to drink it. He can't help but become curious about her completely unknown to the fact the cunning fox he Likes is not Hong but Jiayi.
He decided not take any major steps he is just curious about this little cunning fox.
