'Wake up, Zhen…' Chi Cheng heard a call from a distant part of his mind. With his vision concealed and strange sensations roaming all over his body, the former Celestial Beast no longer understood what was happening.

'Wake up, Zhen…" The voice repeated, sounding much closer than before. 'You need to wake up…'

Zhen? There was only one person who addressed him by that name.

Chi Cheng recognised the voice, finally deciding to answer its call

His subconscious was thrust into a dark and endless void within his mind. At some point, his consciousness faded and passed out without properly comprehending his current situation.

Closing his eyes tightly before he opened them, Chi Cheng urged his body up. The surface beneath his body was like a shallow expanse of clear water. Staring at his reflection in the water, he denoted it depicted him in the appearance of his original body.
