He teased, leaning forward until his back was arched enough to make him remain just a few inches away from Han Xuelian's lips. "As much as I like you calling me Ah-Xin, when you discover who I truly am…I imagine it'll be quite interesting to see your reaction."

Despite Chi Cheng expressing how comfortable and open he was to the Grandmaster discovering his identity soon enough, there was still the uncanny doubt that Han Xuelian would expose him to the societal masses.

As much as he had begun to trust the Grandmaster, his past traumatic experiences and betrayals always served as a precaution even against the man he had come to love unconditionally.

Han Xuelian had begun to draw his own conclusions about his dear broken jewel's identity, connecting as many of the dots he could from beginning to end.
