Bab 276: Intense Emotions

Han Xuelian gazed outside Zhu Zhiying's window, realising that the time of departure to the Celestial Springs had come sooner than expected. He was now torn between his duty to his eldest nephew and his unfulfilled request to Feng Renxing which was initially to unlock Chi Cheng's meridians.

Chi Cheng considered postponing their journey, but he couldn't afford yet another delay. There were events and obstacles that impeded their scheduled journey and he desperately needed to unlock his meridians soon to regain a firm footing against Jian Mingyu.

Zhu Zhiying detected the distress in Chi Cheng's eyes. Although unaware of the reason behind his distress, the Imperial Court General's expression softened sympathetically.

"You assessed Han Yongrui's condition before coming here," Zhu Zhiying stated. "How severe is it?"
