Bab 35: The Secret

Marion wondered where William was going, for not a word came out of the man's mouth. Even though a few minutes ago, he was a pleasant man and managed to make Marion start to change her perspective on her boss more or less.

Although, of course, there are many things that Marion finds annoying, at least William EVER makes the distance between himself and Marion—with his status as boss and assistant—no longer visible.

Marion couldn't let her curiosity overtake her now. In the end, she decided to say what was on her mind. Considering that she was William's personal assistant, shouldn't William have said what Marion was going to do for the day?

Moreover, this is a working day, which means it's time for Marion to carry out the role according to what is stated in the contract.

"Are you going to the office, sir?" asked Marion, who did not get an answer from William because the man seemed busy with the clothes and blazer he was wearing.
