Drake did not head to Eleanor's residence, but chose to be alone. Nor did he return to his home. He walked to the front yard of Marion's house, which once witnessed their togetherness.

The cupid statue seemed to be laughing at him at this moment. Laughing at his misfortune of not being able to get Marion's love.

He lost out to William. That was obvious. However, when it was like this and he couldn't help anything, it made him feel useless.

Drake dragged his feet to the doorstep of the girl's house. He knew Jeremiah must be inside and could have eliminated him if he knew he still stood at that door every day, even every moment whenever he missed Marion.

Drake was indeed very fond of Marion. Unlike before, he was obsessed with Eleanor, and when he found out that their characters were very different, Drake regretted why he was on the devil woman's side.

Even Marion did not hate him at all. That makes Drake even more heartbroken.
