Bab 69: Another Shana

Marion was still outside, watching Drake through the glass window that separated her from the man who was still lying unconscious. The girl didn't understand why Drake became what he was now. Aren't vampires immortal? Why is it that just because of Marion's blood, Drake can suffer so much?

Gabriella approached Marion after talking with William about Marion's health, which Gabriella thought was not a serious problem. Even ordinary people experience it all. No wonder Marion experienced more powerful symptoms than other pregnant women.

Gabriella was now looking in the same direction as Marion.

"He will be fine. Just being in sleep mode to neutralize the poison by itself," Gabriella said without looking at Marion.

"Do all vampires experience it?" the girl asked. Gabriella just shrugged.

"I don't know who has this ability. However, Drake is one of them. Other vampires might die if they can't stand how strong the poison is."
