Bab 2: From darkness to light

Darkness, darkness, and more darkness was all that surrounded me-there was nothing, no sounds, no objects. The only thing I felt was a pain in my head. It had been an hour or two, maybe even a day, I did not know. I remember the preceding events, I remember my life before that moment, but I did not understand where I was. Maybe it was Heaven or Hell, it didn't matter, I was dead.

I just wanted to dissolve into this emptiness, not thinking about anything else. But something keeps my consciousness in this place, not allowing me to die again, and it looks at me as if evaluating me and my life. From this look I felt uncomfortable, I wanted to hide, but there was no place. And after a moment I saw three bright white dots in the distance. With each passing second they grew bigger and brighter. Dots even began to glare so I covered my eyes with my hand. Even so, the light passed through my hand as if it were made of glass. The light filled everything and disappeared after a moment.

The pain in my head gradually went away, giving way to an unpleasant feeling all over my body. I could feel my body again, but there was something wrong with it. The first thing that came to mind, as any person in such a situation, was to open my eyes, but even this action was difficult for me, not to mention the need to move my arms and legs. Only after some time and much effort did I finally open my eyes.

The first thing I saw was a wooden ceiling with a small lamp on it. Leaning on my arms and rising up, I saw the most ordinary looking room. The bed on which I woke up was in the corner of the room, on the left side was a small table with some books and notebooks. On the right side of the bed was a window with shutters, and a wooden door with glass inlays was a little further. It led to a small patio. On the opposite side of the room was a closet full of various clothes, and next to it was a door leading to the inside of the house.

Turning around and putting my feet on the floor, I began to remember:

"-...If I could start all over again..."

-Yes ... My wish came true, I was able to be reborn in another world. However, my memories came back only now, 10 years after I was born, in 1990, four years before the war for the Fourth Holy Grail began. Do not forget that the purpose of this quest was to improve physical strength, and not to get 4 belts, so my characteristics have improved.

After examining my characteristics, I realized only one thing: I am strong, very strong. My status surpassed almost all mages of this era, but it would still be difficult for me to fight even lower ranked servants, I did not consider such servants as Gilgamesh or Arturia, the battle with which is sure to be lost at the beginning of our fight.

Moving on to the stores, it may be noted that there are three stores.

Each of these three was a hex from which I could knock out a Skill, a Phantasm, and an Expendable item, respectively.

1. store of skills: as the name implies I could get any skill of any servant, as well as standard skills like strength mana dexterity and so on.

2. phantasm store : as the name implies I could get any Phantasm of any servant .

3. Expendable Item Store: As the name implies I could get any Expendable item that might be useful. I could get anything from simple food to items that served as a catalyst for summoning servants.

During the year I did not spend the tickets, I decided to save up and leave them for the future. As for me, this future has already come and going to the stores in front of me a new problem - as to what I actually need. First and foremost, as it seems to me it's phantasm, because without it it will be difficult to participate in battles. Secondly it is a skill without them anywhere. If you fall super skill that he will be an excellent assistant in battle. Expendable items we are not talking about yet they will be useless for me at this stage.
