Bab 281: Twenty-Four Hours without You

It had been twenty four hours since John was taken away by kidnappers who had a very well planned that proved to be the police's ultimate nightmare.

Having her son sleeping somewhere unknown to her instead of being under the same roof, Cynthia who had completely collapsed the day before was getting another injection with a sedative effect in order to calm down a bit.

The doctor who was closing the door to his patient's room shook his head gravely as Robert waited by Cynthia's door, "It doesn't look good, Robert,"

That much Robert could tell on his own, "…Did she say something?"

The doctor nodded wishing that she didn't, "She did. She told me that she doesn't want to survive this one,"

Robert's vision was hazy for a second before he was able to concentrate again.

The doctor frowned, "Have you slept at all last night?"

"Yes," Robert lied mechanically.
