Bab 3: Golden Core
The thunder continued hitting Cui Wen as he meditated focused on completing his Violet core. The core grade goes as follows, No grade meaning an average golden core not capable of expanding the dantian. Then came the Silver Core, Red Core, Jade Core and finally Violet Core. With every upgrade the core will be even bigger enabling more Qi to get stored later on. This is important as if you run out of Qi you are most likely dead.
Anyways Cui Wens Golden Core was turning into different colors, red, yellow, brown and others due to the transformation process. Eventually the core turned Violet and it was then he fused a small part of his Spirit Root into the core giving him a boost in thunder Qi.
And finally the thunder stopped striking down and the clouds cleared. A new made Violet mixed with dark blue Golden Core was made. Feeling his new Golden Core was amazing. Cui Wen could now gather Qi at 12x the rate alongside Lightning Qi if he discovers a special area.
Cui Wen decided to consolidate his cultivation base first before going to the ceremony. Lightning was flickering around him indicating he was cultivating. Eventually after 20 minutes he decided it was enough.
Cui Chen is in awe of Cui Wen reaching Golden Core +300 SP
Cui Feng is angry at Cui Wen for reaching Golden Core +200 SP
Cui Xinxin is envious of Cui Wen reaching Golden Core +150 SP
Xi Yan is impressed of Cui Wen reaching Golden Core +500 SP
Xi Yuan is pretending however is still impressed of Cui Wen reaching Golden Core

"Look at all these notifications I'm already at 3750 SP points." Cui Wen said changing his now burnt clothes into new ones.
"However why do the royal family give me more? Is it because of their status?" He pondered to himself after finally changing clothing and fixing his hair.
Finally after 30 minutes had passed he was on the way towards the banquet. Cui Wen walked slowly without a care in the world eventually reaching the large opened doors of the banquet hall.
The guards greeted him.
"Young Master" The two said at the same time with even an even more humble tone.
Cui Wen simply walked by and stepped into the hall and boom!
Thousands of gazes attacked him inspecting him. With his left hand resting on the saber sheath he continued walking until he reached the Cui table.
The hall seemed to turn quiet after he entered a testament to his genius cultivation base. Various different clans and sects geniuses eyed him with envy and arrogance.
"Hmph who does this puny Cui Wen think he is" the young master of the Jiang Clan, Jiang Xiao thought.
"I might be in Foundation Establishment but that doesn't matter!" Jiang Xiao can't accept his pride broken.
At the Ye Clan table the Ye siblings Ye Fan and Ye Ming merely snorted and averted their gaze.
The Swordburn Sects genius Lu Hao grew increasingly worried about his future however his pride managed to keep him cool headed.
Finally Cui Wen reached the Cui family table.
"Congratulations Young Master!" A few of them shouted in unison finally acknowledging my position.
I nodded and sat down on the chair calmly before the others greeted me.
"Greetings Senior Brother Wen." Cui Xinxin stood up and cupped her fist. It had been several years since she ever saw Cui Wen and he had grown even more handsome.
"Senior Brother, Good to see you" Cui Chen and Cui Yin greeted.
In response I waved my hand indicating hem to sit. These simple things were important for a person's reputation. Especially for Cui Wen reputation is everyone in the cultivation world. If you are known as a scoundrel who would trust you, if you are known as a scammer who would trust you?
This simple act of standing up showed that Cui Wen had higher standing and position however only Cui Feng did not greet him.
Although everyone were older than Cui Wen they still addressed him as Senior Brother due to his strength. With strength anything is possible.
"Hmm, Junior Brother Feng is still as narrow minded" Cui Wen said out loud for everyone to hear.
The surrounding Cui family members broke down in sweat seeing Cui Wens actions.
Cui Wen would not tolerate any disrespect and this Cui Fengs face annoyed him.
Cui Feng stayed silent and clenched his fists rembering the warning he received from the Elder.
"Pretty Sister Xinxin has Brother Feng gone deaf?" Cui Wen asked her innocently taking a drink from the table.
Cui Wen did this for two reasons, first to probe his Junior Sisters thoughts and second to provoke Cui Feng.
"Hihihi, it seems so Senior Brother Wen" she replied giggling after finally talking with Cui Wen.
Cui Wen glanced at Cui Feng before taking action.
"Time to use my Illusionary Tower, gotta test it first. Test subject acquired Cui Feng!" Cui Wen thought to himself before unleashing his tower.
Everyone in the Great Xia Land were aware of the Cui Illusionary Tower, every member awakened it however it was a very low chance. It was feared after the Cui ancestor 6000 years ago fought against 6 Emperor Realm powerhouses alone.
Using the Cui Illusionary Tower he could send out various different illusions entraping his enemies swiftly. Another use was that after reaching the Soul Perfection realm the tower could be brought in reality not as a illusion but a solid object. It's capable of attacking and defending making a great weapon.
However if it gets destroyed it will severely damage the user's cultivation base. Every Illusionary Tower were different. For example the ancestor 6000 years ago his tower was a bright red pagoda filled with 1000 thousand floors every floor capable of attacking. It was terrifying.
Anyways back to the present..
Cui Wen focused on bringing his Illusionary Tower outside his sea of consciousness. Eventually after a few seconds an almost modern Chinese pagoda tower appeared on the ground beside him. It was almost 2 meters tall standing at 1.75m the average height of a person on earth.
"This is nice" Cui Wen thought eventually looking up at his acquaintances reactions.
Obviously the reaction was sheer shock, when had a Cui family member ever awakened their bloodline at 15 years of age?? Even the youngest person before was only 25 the former Grand Elder now in seclusion.
And that Grand Elder turned out more terrifying than the Swordburn Sect master!
Cui Chen, Cui Xinxin, Cui Feng, hell even the damn Elder was shocked seeing Cui Wen pulling out his Illusionary Tower calmly.
Their mouths going wide in astonishment was really funny.

"Junior Brother, I will teach you a lesson okay? Hopefully this will fix your narrow minded mind no?" Cui Wen spoke glancing at his system alerting the nearby Cui geniuses.
"W-wai.." Cui Feng recovered from his shock and tried to appease Cui Wen. But too late.
"Here we go." Cui Wen said casually and activated the illusion. Cui Wen thought of making the illusion him beating Cui Feng over and over 10,000 thousand times. That will suffice probably.
A mere second later Cui Feng collapsed onto the ground groaning in pain.
"I wonder how long this lasts." Cui Wen pondered and grabbed a snack.
Inside the illusion..
"S-Senior Brother??? I'm sorry, can you let me out now?" Cui Feng hoping to get released.
He was currently inside a small dungeon locked up in chains.
"Oh Junior Brother why must you do this, I simply wanted a normal brothership however you rejected me.." Cui Wen spoke outside the cell in grief.
"What? S-Senior brother I didn't do that?" Cui Feng realizing he was in deep shit said.
"Yes you did, I will teach you a lesson now to never disrespect your sweet Senior Brother." The Cui Wen illusion said.
After that sentence Cui Wen entered the cell with a black Adidas flipflop ready to beat some sense into his Junior Brother.
Seeing the object Cui Feng suddenly had a really bad feeling..
"Y-y-y-you d-d-don't need to do this.." Cui Feng said one last time before Cui Wen pounced on him.
Cui Wen raised the flipflop and threw a strikes Cui Fengs buttocks.

"Arghhh!!!! I'm sorry Senior Brother!" Cui Feng shouted over and over in pain.
"P-please..no..." he continued in pain.
Slap! Slap!
However Cui Wen continued hitting him with the flipflop.
"May you atone for your sins" The Cui Wen illusion said out loud and continued.
7 days and 7 nights passed in that matter until Cui Feng escaped the illusion. He only received 5000 thousand slaps due to his mental strength and the low power of the newly awakened Illusionary Tower.
After around 10 minutes in the real world Cui Feng woke up. His mental state in disarray and his heavy breathing sounded in the hall.
"S-Senior Brother I'm sorry, please forgive me!" Cui Fengs mental state still confused thought he was still in an illusion and bowed towards Cui Wen on his knees.
"Hmm, I will forgive you then. Always remember we are sweet brothers!" I reminded him and tried to tap his shoulder however he dodged it in fear.
During the time of Cui Fengs suffering the surrounding cultivators had grown shocked by the effects. Once again reminding them of the deadly Cui Family abilities.
"Brothers and Sisters how are you doing?" Cui Wen asked switching the topic while Cui Feng is in the illusion, it was now time for him to build connections and get subordinates for the future.
"Senior Brother your strength is admirable, you are a true genius!" Cui Chen said in sheer appreciation of his Senior Brother.
"Junior Brother Chen I will give you some pointers later on." Surprised by his brothers affections Cui Wen decided to make him subordinate number 1.
"Really?? Senior Brother I don't know how to repay you." Cui Chen said and looked down onto the table.
"Haha, does it matter we are family, brothers afterall." Cui Wen simply replied shrugging it off.
Hearing this the surrounding Cui Family geniuses looked at Cui Chen in envy. Receiving advice from the number one genius in the Cui family was sure to help them.
"Senior Brother, how could you just forget your sweet sister Xinxin??" Cui Xinxin said flattering herself.
"If it comes to this I will simply give everyone advice then, how many of us are here?" Cui Wen asked.
"Senior Brother there are currently 23 Cui family members here" Cui Yin the more scholarly young man replied.
"Sure, everyone can come with me after the banquet and we shall improve our skills together." Cui Wen looked around not missing a single brother or sister near the table.
"The Young Master is wise!" A Cui member said in admiration.
"The Young Master is Heavenly!" Different praises came out to praise Cui Wen.
Cui Wen accepted all the compliments with ease. However at this time did he realize he hadn't greeted the Grand Elder yet. The hall blooming with cultivators continued in their discussions and connecting making a lively atmosphere.
"I shall go greet the Grand Elder" Cui Wen said finally standing up.
"Let us follow you Young Master!" Cui Tian said a newly acquired loyal follower.
"Sure, everyone come greet the elder. Oh, also someone grab Brother Cui Feng." Cui Wen said leading the way with the almost 30 Cui geniuses. The crowds around the halls were large with many networking.
Seeing all the Cui family members on the way they quickly made space and greeted Cui Wen. He greeted them back obviously hoping to network after.
Their table was fairly close to the Grand Elder and various other Elders sitting beside him. Swordburns Sect Master, Ye Clan Patriarch and elders, Jiang Clans elders and many others were gathered. Simply them standing there releasing no pressure caused he other cultivators nearby to back off.
Keep in mind the banquet had been going on for almost 40 minutes now and several had already greeted the Grand Elder. Only the Cui family were left.
Passing by the Xi Royal Family Cui Wen decided to not spare them a glance since they would eventually probably become enemies.
Of course if they greeted him he would so the same.
As expected they did not greet him stayed true to their royal statuses. He continued walking with the Cui Clans various different geniuses.
Finally approaching the steps towards the Grand Elder he walked up before stopping near the other Elders.
"Junior Cui Wen, congratulates the Senior Grand Elder! May you live seeing the several stars dying and reborn." Cui Wen went on one knee and cupped his hands in respect.
After the several other Cui Clan members did the same showing respects.
"Hohoho!" The Grand Elder laughed a little bit stroking his long gray beard.
"Boy you have really surprised me, I already knew you would be a genius but to awaken the Cui Illusionary Tower already is impressive" The Grand Elder continued laughing boasting about his genius descendant.
"However, you are quite audacious coming late to this Seniors birthday." The Grand Elder suddenly said sternly gazing upon his descendant.
"I deeply apologize Senior, I hope you understand I received various enlightenments awakening the Cui Illusionary Tower and breaking through to Golden Core." Cui Wen replied giving a reasonable thought of excuse.
"Junior I will forgive you for awakening the Cui Illusionary Tower, but next time you won't be so lucky with this old man" the Grand Elder said finally warning Cui Wen.
"Understood Senior!" Cui Wen said before standing up cupping his hands towards the various other Elders and leaders.
Cui Wen knew it was time to go, with him awakening the Cui Illusionary Tower it would surely cause conflicts among the older generation.
