Joi calmed down and used a defensive Imperial Art. Nine light curtains were layered before she took the attack. The wave crashed against the light curtains like ocean waves on a cliff-side and cut through three of the nine shields before dissipating. However, Joi's troubles didn't end there, as three more sword waves of a similar caliber came her way. 

Joi changed her stance and put on a defensive posture as she raised the blade above her head and the white light exploded from it that filled the room. The sound of a bell rang out, and everything within several hundred-meter radii of Joi was obliterated. 

Xasha stared at the battle in shock and jubilation. The bright light ebbed, and Xasha saw a giant golden bell floating above Joi's head. The bell rang a second time, sending a thick golden ray of light into the hole the Mantis Queen created.
