Bab 17: A confession

I was lying on the bed waiting for the nurse, Adrian was gone for a while. Why is my body reacting weirdly I must have caught some unknown disease arhh... I can't even speak properly it's so embarrassing covering her face with her palm she felt her hands cold from the sweating.

" Hey Lilith the teachers said the nurse is not around and gave me a tablet for you to swallow " said Adrian handing the medicine to Lilith. " Should I eat or not eat.... well I guess I have high temperature I should eat it " thought Lilith looking at the tablet taking it. " Well I am going to class rest for a while " said Adrian patting her head.

" That's right nothing is wrong with me is just the fever... just the fever...i will sleep for a while " thought Lilith assuring herself .

When she woke up she felt better so she went to class.

At class " what do we have here two boys wearing skirt is crossdressing a thing now " said the Teacher teasing . When the teacher said two I looked around and spotted a girl with short hair just like me she looked shy, she looked around and noticed me we smiled at each other. I approached her after the class was over " wanna sit on my bench I like your hair " " yeah but do your friends approved " "why are you so timid my friends are cool so they won't disapprove " said Lilith with a smile " I have not gotten your name you must be new here" " yeah and my name is Carol " " nice to meet you Carol my name is Lilith this are my friends Summer and Christina "

They all sat on the same bench, the bell rang its was lunch break all of them got out of class to get lunch.

Lilith ran into Julie " hi Lilith it's been a while " said Julie " yeah how have you been ".

Since the incident where Julie said I like you they have been friends for a while. She has turned 14 years old about the same age as Adrian and had been acting very weird for sometime " it will be Adrian's birthday very soon " thought Lilith .

" I am fine can I talk to you after school tomorrow " " Yeah it's okay with me do you have some sort of problem " " not really but there's one problem " " okay I will be there "

" Hey what's the name of the guy with glasses that you chat with this morning " asked Carol

" You mean Adrian his my friend " " I thought you two are very close to each other " " well we have known each other for two years " said Lilith.

They bumped into Adrian when they walked to their classroom " Lilith you made a new friend nice job and how are you feeling " said Adrian " better " said Lilith " okay take care of yourself " said Adrian with a smile.

School was over and Lilith walked home with Carol they talked about their likes and dislikes along the way .

At night Lilith walked up to the roof for her usual star gazing. There was no moon tonight and the sky was clear of clouds cold wind blew and the crickets chirping there was a calm silence refreshing the mind. She lay down looking up at the sky searching for the three stars that represented her, Kyle and Adrian. " wish I could someday be an artist " thought Lilith reaching out her arms to the sky.

" there are billions stars in the sky but I wanna be the brightest.. oh... oh... so I could have your attention.... how will I become the best for you to be proud of me.... someday you will surely notice me.... someday we will have time....someday we will be happy..... I will be waiting for that day... " she sang remembering her mom .

The next day at school, all things were as usual " oh I forgot I need to wait for Julie after school.... Carol don't wait for me I have some bussiness with my friend " said Lilith waiting for Julie in front of the school gates

" Who are you waiting for are you not going back home " asked Adrian " Waiting for Julie " said Lilith it became a habit of her not to speak long to Adrian because of her fear of shuttering. " Let's go home together I will be waiting at the coffee shop near school " said Adrian " no it's OK go back first " " but.... " " Lilith sorry for the wait " said Julie cutting Adrian off " well I will be waiting " said Adrian walking off.

Julie took a deep breath " There is something that I want to tell you for a long time and I don't know how to tell you... you will think I'm being a weirdo but I want you to know... "

" I won't think you're a weirdo just tell me " said Lilith " Um... Lilith I've liked you for a long time I don't know how it turned to love ...I love you Lilith..i know I am a girl but I can't stop loving you... will you please accept my feelings " Lilith was so shocked she didn't know how to respond it was her first time being confessed by someone she didn't know how to react so she was frozen on the spot.

" Um.. Lilith you don't have to give me an answer right away " said Julie nervously.

Lilith didn't know what to say at this point she didn't even know what is love herself so she blankly said see you tomorrow to Julie and ran away. Julie was just left there staring at her back.

" Lilith over here why are you running" said Adrian trying to catch up to her.

She slowed down " how do I really reply when someone confessed to me "asked Lilith " well if you like them you accept their feelings and if you don't like them you reject them.... wait.. wait why are you asking that all of a sudden "

" Julie confessed to me she said she loves me " " wait what Julie confessed... it's just like the first time she met you " said Adrian trying to hold his laughter. " do I accept or not accept " said Lilith " well I don't know you two are both girls.... wait wait Lilith are you a lesbian " " what is that " " well a girl that only love girls or girls that want to be married to girls" " but I don't want to be married to a girl " " well then you are not a lesbian " .
