Bab 37: They Found The Trace

"Carla?" Jade asked as she opened her door. She was awakened by a knock on her door which turned out to indicate Carla visited her.

She walked in and her lips pursed. She really looked like the old Carla. Like the old her was back. 

"You didn't come to my birthday party, but you gave me a present. Thank you, but I'm so disappointed that I didn't see you at my party, Jade," Carla said.

Jade closed the door while she was still gathering her life. She was still sleepy because she always sleeps in the morning. Just like a bat.

She sat in her chair, propping her forehead with her hand. "I'm still sleepy, Carla."

And Carla sighed. She watched Jade for a long time until Jade felt cared for.

Only then did she lift her head and wink. "Why? Are you planning to kill me?" Jade asked her friend.
