"Hey, do you want to know hot news?" asked Shane while Jade approached him at the canteen's table.

They planned to study together, and suddenly Shane offered new news to Jade. According to Shane, she had to find out before Max himself told her.

"Is it important? If it's not, I don't want to know," Jade replied.

"It's important for you to know before Max tells you himself."

Jade looked at Shane with a serious look when Max's name was mentioned to him. Of course, she wanted to know what the hot news Shane meant.

"I'm listening."

"One of Max's guests is missing. You must know what I mean, Jade. I know what you hide also but don't worry, your secret's safe from me," Shane explained.

Jade froze in front of him. She didn't care if Shane knew. What made her freeze was that one of Max's guests was missing. She thought that it might be her father behind it all. The morning incident that she saw must have been one of his guests.
