Bab 13: Chapter 13_ Home
I look into the duvet covering my body and I was on a pajamas. I gaped back at Skylar quickly.
He understand my face expression "No, no, I didn't do anything, trust me."
"How then did I get into pajamas?"
"Sarah did that."
"And who is Sarah?"
"She is my house help."
I glance at him. "Where is my phone?"
"I guess we left it at your house because I didn't see it with you."
I prefer it that way. I thought.
"I have to go now. I said coming down from the bed."
"Where are you going?"
"Home. Please leave I need to change."
"Certainly no way, I can't let you go back to that house after what happen just yesterday and stay all by yourself. It not safe."
"I have to go sky."
"What if they are still there? I mean, I can forgive myself if I let you go and something happens to you."
"Nothing will happen to me. I'm going to get my phone and I'll go somewhere else for now."
"Alright, after breakfast I will drive you home."
"I can take care of myself sky. Beside I have an unfinished business to complete."
"Unfinished business? Wait, I have been meaning to ask. Is this related to the other night I was attacked?"
"I don't think that right."
"And I saw Eleanor at the scene. Was she some monster? I saw her pull a knife off her yet she was still very much alive."
"She….
"And" He added stopping me with a finger. I saw a tattoo on your shoulder and I think it similar with the one I had saw on Eleanor. What up with you and Eleanor?"
I bend my head thinking of hat to say. "Breakfast you said. Let have breakfast and I we explain to you."
"I..," He hesitate and then answerd. "Cool"
We set at the dinning while Sarah served us breakfast of toasted breads and tea.
"Hey Sarah" I called stopping her from leaving. She stopped "Sorry I don't drink tea."
"What will you like to have ma'am."
What do I like? I don't drink tea neither coffee I thought. Skylar and Sarah were staring at me waiting for my reply. "Don't bother, I will manage."
"Okay ma'am." She turns to Skylar. "Sir I'm done with my morning chores."
He wave a 'you can go' waves to her and she left.
"I'm waiting for your explanation."
I actually have nothing to say to him. I already drug his tea. I slip into the kitchen earlier and drug the boiled water. I just have to wait for it effect.
"Your house is quite big. Do you leave alone?"
"I could say yes if the mind weren't around."
"What about your dad?"
He sneered. "Just forget about him."
"Aren't you always bored at home all by yourself?"
"I've my phone."
"Your…. Girlfriend?"
He glanced at me "I don't have one."
"Really! What about Alice?"
Alice? C'mon stop it. I'm not blind"
"Really!"
" You are not eating. If you don't like it I can as well make something else for you."
I was happy the conversation was getting longer. It won't take long before the drug took effect. "You cook?"
"Yeah."
"Who taught you how to cook? Sarah?"
"Nope" He answered picking up his tea cup.
"Your Mom?"
He was about sipping from the tea but he hesitated. "No" He said and slowly drank from the tea and then said "my dad".
I notice he was sad immediately I mention his Mom.
" Aahh!! My head"
"What wrong sky?" I asked fully knowing what wrong.
"My head hurt! I'm feeling dizzy." Slowing he rest his head on the table and doze off.
"Poor boy" I murmured. I hurried back to the room, get into my dress. I search for Skylar key and found it. I return back to the dinning to get Skylar but found Sarah standing before him. "Shush!" she whisper when I entered. "He's sleeping."
"What's she doing here? I was sure she left few minutes earlier." She just ruined my plan of taking Skylar with me. "Tell him I've gone home when he wake up."
She nodded and I left.
When I arrived home, the tetanus men I fought with were no longer there. I have to repost to my mom. So I transfer into my usual self expect for my hair being it usual color. I put on my tribal ring and left.
I arrived home and saw my mom personal bodyguard standing outside. I wondered what he was doing outside standing alone being he was always found anywhere my mom is. "Where's my Mom" I asked.
"Her majesty isn't expecting you."
"I have to report to her, it's urgent."
"Her majesty is in her chamber."
I left him. I walk into my mom chamber. It's was dark as always. She preferred it dark and cozy. She was sitting on her usual couch. Her legs crossed and a glass of her favorite wine in her hand. Jasper, her pet dog was resting beside her."
I bow before her.
"I remember not sending for your return Keisha. Have your task in kloger be completed?"
"No Mom, I came to report the immediate your majesty."
"Speaks"
"I was assassinated by the Tetanus."
"You were assaulted not assassinated. You're are still very much alive."
"Your majesty….
"How can you tell it was the Tetanus?" She interrupted.
"From their tattoos and…"
"You can't tell from the tattoos. You haven't seen one before."
"I have your majesty. She attends Kloger with me and" I pause.
She drinks from her wine. "And what?"
"She is after the chosen one too."
She uncrossed her legs instantly and thunder. "What!!
