Bab 223: closeness

Getting ready for the evening Lai decided to have her dinner together with Gold as the servants had arranged and again they were peaceful. 

And the servants served her the grapes she got as a gift and she enjoyed very much.

Gold was glad that Lai didn't see it as a bad idea staying in such a place and rather she seem to be happy.

Later on when they reside to their room Gold laid on the bed and Lai followed but they didn't sleep very close enough to cuddle.

Though it was not something new to them yet they couldn't be freely around each other mostly because he was yet to properly confess and she was yet to accept.

They were married yes but they were not lovers and had not been very close without reservation or limit.

Gold wanted to make everything right and make their relationship normal and to do that he was ready to wait despite wanting to move ahead and give in to his wishes.
