Bab 106: I want to confess

Albert's body was drenched in blood. The cuts caused by sharp items were apparent. The shackles had his hands and legs bound. The upper body was kept bare for the display. She dared not to enter the prison and stood outside, looking at Elric who was inside, through iron bars.

She could see why Mr Saemus advised her not to accompany them to the prison. In the name of interrogation, the prisoner was literally tortured. When she saw Albert's famished, energy-drained body, she was concerned for a split second.

The clinking sound of metal drew her attention, and she turned to see Elric approaching Albert with a box in his hand. Evelyn stood there, terrified of what was contained within the box. When he opened the box, she saw there were different tools along with a small glass bottle.
