Bab 164: Dance

Each weapon had its own purpose, just like a skill. Something was suitable for defense, something for attack, something for healing. However, some skills could change several aspects simultaneously under certain conditions.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Dozens of spiders approached Zayne, while his eyes were closed. Every skill he learned was possible to use intuitively, but, sometimes, it needed some preparation.

'Shit... I had to practice, even though I didn't have time. Well, learning under stress is always the most effective way, isn't it?' Zayne internally muttered before pulling his sword from the wall.

"Rark!" One of the spiders got close enough to open its jaw, wanting to swallow Zayne.

Perhaps Zayne would have been frightened by such a sight or instead would have reacted quickly, but now the situation was different, causing the spider to flinch as if its instincts were telling it to run.
