Bab 168: Epilogue

Aiden paused, taking a drink out of the water bottle. When he had gulped nearly half of it, he continued. "After that, I went back to England, and it somehow continued. I wanted to run away from everything, and I learned that doing that and some other things helped me forget. Even for a moment or a night, I forgot about what happened. Everyone says that I changed, and I guess I did. I stole from the wine cellar. I shoplifted, and most times, I ended up trashed and wasted. I would return home high sometimes, with my mom looking at me in disapproval. The police department became familiar with me. The officers would be like,  'Oh, Knight's back, and my rich daddy always had my back. I got into fights when my anger got the best of me."
