As soon as Ava fell asleep, Nathan quietly opened her laptop. He skimmed through her proposal, and a trace of admiration appeared in his eyes. Glancing at Ava sleeping peacefully nearby, his expression grew complicated. She had grown so much without him even realizing it.

Nathan felt both proud and concerned. Yet, no matter what Ava wanted to do, he would always support her without question. After looking through her computer, Nathan discreetly noted the name Enoch Gavin.

The next day, when Chris reported back with information on Enoch Gavin, Nathan was surprised. He finally understood why Ava had chosen this particular person.
