Bab 264: Chapter 263: Never Enough

'I… I see… He already has someone new,' Loreen felt a lump in throat as she gulped. 

She knew she should be happy for him. This was her choice. She divorced him despite their feelings so she should accept this outcome. She knew she should. Yet, instead, her chest and stomach hurt so much.

Even now, she was still missing Edric, and yet she had already moved on despite all the feelings he said he had for her. He moved on from her that quickly while she was still here thinking about him.

'No, I should be happy for him,' Loreen tried to reason with herself that she should be glad Edric quickly found someone new. After all, it meant he would no longer be in pain about their parting.

And yet, but hurt so much to see him happy with someone else. She could not stop the bitterness and pain she felt as she recalled all his declarations of love for her. The way he talked, it was as if he would not be able to move on from her for a while, and yet he did so quickly.
