Seeing the leaking on the wall, everyone immediately headed to his position wanting to lend a hand, however, they were completely dumbfounded when they found out that Zach was pushing the truck by himself using three metal pipes. Though it was slow, the fact that it was moving was already shocking knowing how heavy and strong the flow of mud flood was.
"What are you doing?!! Immediately start the fortification of the wall!!" Zach shouted upon seeing the Rangers just looking at him without doing anything. His spending of all his free attributable stat points was more than enough as he could move the truck at ease if he wanted to, but he didn't do it immediately and just guided it slowly in order not to destroy the other walls.
Hearing Zach, the Rangers immediately woke up and started working on fortifying the wall since there were already a number of logs not that far from them. This will be another event in which they have witnessed Zach's peculiar strength as aside from seeing him moving the truck on his own, the metal pipes he was holding were also bending showing how much force Zach was releasing.
With that, Zach slowly but surely moved the truck while everyone was working hard on fortifying the walls and not long after that, the threat then finally disappeared seeing the truck arrive and completely left the end of the wall.
Zach no longer retrieved the metal pipes and just let it be as he looked at the truck being pushed away from the base. With that, he then returned back to the front wanting to see the situation and help if there was still something else to work on.
After the truck, no other accidents occurred as everyone finally took a breather seeing them now just moving debris from time to time. The walls were also fortified a little more just in case something happened again.
For the following days, Zach and the rest of the Rangers were the only ones who were looking after the wall however, their workload was getting smaller and smaller because the mud flood had started to slow down before it finally stopped on the fourth day.
Though the mud flood has stopped, the water level, however, has started to rise with a little bit of mud in it seeing it almost reaching their knees. Despite that, the people weren't that concerned about it as they were working together to get them out of the base.
Meanwhile, Zach could be found looking at the survivors who were working inside the base from the watchtower. He knew that the mud flood was no longer a threat, so he immediately told everyone to prepare for the rising of the water level as they still had until tomorrow before this heavy rain and thunderstorms would end.
"Do you think this will continue to rise?" Carl, who was together with Zach in the watchtower, suddenly asked. They had their fair share of experience with it before so they no longer treat it as dangerous added to the fact that they have boats on the base if it would really rise.
"It's possible." Zach replied as he thought the chances of it happening were high.
"Well, have the Ranger ready the boats and tell everybody that they just need to persevere for another day before this calamity will end." Zach followed before climbing down wanting to check the situation inside his house as everyone was affected by the rising of the water level.
Inside Zach's house, Vanessa and the others could be found moving buckets of muddy water outside as even the children were helping while enjoying themselves at the same time. Seeing this, Zach then also helped while checking on Jenny from time to time to see how she was doing.
When noon came, the rise of muddy water was no longer unstoppable as the rain just wouldn't stop seeing it already above their knees. With that, Zach finally gave an order for the children, injured, elderly, and most especially his pregnant wife Jenny to be moved to the watchtowers just to be safe.
Prohibiting the use of umbrellas thinking that they might be struck by lightning, everybody was wearing coats and were now ready for the worst to come. No longer tiring themselves of moving buckets of muddy water to the outside of the base, each one of them was now staying on the boat.
Hours pass by and the muddy water has already reached above everyone's waist however, as if they were enjoying the situation, the survivors could be found paddling inside the base while some took the chance to climb to their roofs so they could lie down and properly position their bodies.
Everyone has their own ways in order not to get bored and so time continues to pass by, and the next morning comes. The rain was still pouring heavily which resulted in the muddy water rising to the level of their roofs.
No one had a good rest aside from the people staying on the watchtowers, but it didn't bother them as they knew that today was the day this calamity would end and finally the day they would say goodbye to their sleepless nights due to how loud the thunder was.
Everyone is waiting patiently before the base starts bustling with noise after they finally hear the notifications.

[Congratulations on evolving to Tier 1 Human.]
[Additional Rewards will be given.]
[Proceeding to Phase 2: Human Evolution will commence in two months.]
Everyone was surprised upon hearing so many notifications at once but that was not the most surprising thing as everyone could be found staring blankly in front of them as if they were looking at something.
As they didn't know what was happening, the survivors started asking the person next to them if they could see the blue screen floating in front of them. The base was bustling with noise as they were inquiring curiously, however, some of the survivors could be found brimming with excitement, specifically those of the same age as Zach.
Not long after, everyone suddenly stopped what they were doing as they saw the rain stopping together with the dark clouds disappearing and being replaced with the bright rays of the sun.
Everyone hadn't imagined until now just how beautiful the sun really is after experiencing three weeks of darkness. They all smile as they let themselves bathe with the heat coming from the sun seeing everyone bursting in joy after surviving the calamity.
Meanwhile, Zach could be found looking at his status as he was also curious as to what was happening after hearing the notifications a while back.

Evolution Store
Evolution Coins: 1,000]
Zach thought that he has now two systems but after seeing a single status panel in front of him, he then just thought that somehow the two must have merged upon seeing some new additions and changes from his status panel.
Carefully studying it, Zach then just thought that the additional sixty free attributable stat points must be the reward that the notification had said since he didn't see anything new in his inventory.
Aside from that, the additional note that he has now a lifespan of 150 years must be the result of evolving into a Tier 1 human. He also noticed that his level progression has been reset believing that it might also have something to do with evolving to Tier 1 human.
What Zach was very interested in was the Evolution Store. The store was like a shopping app before the calamities happened, the only difference is that it has everything you can ask for like food, clothes, cars, weapons like guns and even nuclear bombs can be bought given that you have the wealth to purchase them.
This means that there are now new ways to look for supplies that he didn't have before and luckily, he had 1,000 Evolution Coins which was the currency to use in the store which was probably also part of the reward. He checked the store for a while before deciding not to spend it for now and talked about it with his family.
After that, Zach finally was done looking at his status panel. Looking at the survivors around, he could only smile as they were so engrossed in inquiring about each other that he felt like they would not listen to him if he would say a word.
"Everyone!! I know that some of you were confused while some were excited about what you are seeing right now but it can be done later!! For now, let us look after the base while the sun is still up!!" Zach, however, still did it as he shouted so that everyone could hear the words he said.
Hearing Zach, the confusion and excitement of the survivors have subsided a little. Just like he said, they all had the time to look into it when everything was already in place, and that the base would be their first priority for now as they had also observed that the water level was strangely decreasing.
With that, Zach and the survivors immediately started to work even though they could still not do much as the water was on the way. However, when night came the water magically disappeared which left them only with muddy ground but it was already enough.
It was already dark, but the base was still bustling with noise as everyone was busy seeing the men carrying buckets of muddy ground and throwing them outside of the base while the women and children could be found cleaning their houses.
No one stopped working until midnight after they were all done and were now inside their houses. For the past few hours, everyone was surprised by the power of the system especially the Evolution Store as everyone decided not to reach out and ask for Zach's food and supplies distribution as they all tried to spend their Evolution Coins and bought all the things they needed to survive for the night.
1,000 Evolution Coins was a small number but it was enough to buy the essential things that every survivor needed while still having some of them to spend in luxury and buy something they were looking for specifically alcohol since they could only drink such a thing when there's an occasion happening like surviving a calamity.
Meanwhile, Zach was in the living room of his house as he was having a hard time sleeping after his excitement and amazement were keeping him awake as he couldn't believe what just happened. He could be found drinking and looking at a gold coin with an ordinary design on it seeing only the letter E in the center.
After some time, Zach breathed deeply as he forced himself to calm down and open his status panel again. He then immediately headed to the last part of it wanting to see if it was just an illusion due to being drunk and tired from working all day.
[Evolution Coins: 1,000,000,000.]
"T-This is fucking insane." Zach couldn't help but curse. Truth be told, after successfully summoning an Evolution Coin out of the system, he tried putting it in the Survival Inventory. He was actually just trying it out but upon seeing that it could be duplicated, his mind went blank, and couldn't muster any words to say due to surprise which he thought that there must be something wrong with his eyes.
With that, Zach continued staying in the living room trying to make himself drunk to calm himself down so that he could rest for the night.
