She didn't know what she felt because no matter how hard she tried to lie to herself, Lewis was still the man that kept popping into her mind. And she didn't know why it was getting more frequent than before.

Axel on the other hand was a good person who cared about her and always visited her in the hospital. He even took her out for lunch but was that enough to say that she liked him? It felt more like he was a distraction for her from thinking about Lewis.
