Bab 84: Absorbtion

"Stop!" 

Shouted Talon at the panicking bandit.

But the bandit was too far gone, consumed by such deep fear that he saw Talon as the grim reaper.

Moments ago, he had been one of the bandits within the camp, until suddenly, their world was enveloped in thick white fog. In the blink of an eye, they were falling like flies, slaughtered by an unseen enemy.

Now, he faced the one responsible for the massacre—a gifted freak, young but powerful nonetheless.

With fear consuming him entirely, the bandit made his last stand, wielding his steel short sword and lunging at the young gifted.

"I said stop, you idiot!"

Shouted Talon. 

Despite feeling numb after killing the other bandits, he had no desire for needless bloodshed.

But the bandit left him no choice as he charged at Talon with his short sword.

With no other option, Talon tightened his grip on his serrated vampire dagger and evaded the bandit's charge.
