The rain fell almost every day, but the entire continent was fine.

The city's buildings on this continent were constructed with a special type of stone that could absorb and avert rainwater. It was magical.

There was a vast system of underground tunnels and canals that crisscrossed the city. These channels were constructed to absorb and make structural changes to excessive water, allowing it to flow innocuously into the surrounding lands or be recycled for irrigation and more.

The city's streets were lined and planted with special plants that could absorb and store rainwater, releasing it slowly into the soil. These plants helped to maintain soil moisture levels. Those plants were called the Aqualis Fern.
