Bab 207: Marshmallows and Sprinkles

Malia watched me with careful eyes as I prepared hot chocolate just the way she liked. I made it out of full cream milk in a pot because it allowed the hot chocolate to blend perfectly and added a little condensed milk because I knew that was exactly how Malia loved it. When I was done I poured it in a cup then poured marshmallows on top and drizzled light sprinkles. 

I cut a slice of cake for her and sliced strawberries to place next to it then dusted icing sugar on top with a drizzle of chocolate sauce then handed it to her with her favourite small golden fork. 

"Thank you," she clapped excitedly, completely forgetting that she hated my guts as she took a huge bite of her cake. She let out a groan and closed her eyes then looked at me with sparkling eyes, "I've been starving."

"The help said you've been eating well," I chuckled as I leaned against the countertop.
