"I've been trying but no matter what I come up with I- I just can't seem to find the right moment."

"That's because you're reading it all wrong," she waved her hands, "You can't wait for the right moment, you have to force the right moment. Imagine when I told you about Eli, I left a bun in the oven and asked you to check it. Now imagine if I had just left the bun in the oven. 

You would have probably eaten it and that would have been the end of it but no I pushed the moment and even with Lia-"

"Lia's was very cute," I nodded. 

"My point exactly," she beamed, "The ultrasound picture in your laptop bag was adorable. You were so confused. It was the perfect moment. Therefore you have to do the same with Ethan, you're overthinking it too much."

I ran my hand on my jaw then hummed, "What do you think I should do?"
