Bab 188: Chapter 188: A Present

The Royal Palace... It was a grand and majestic structure that looked over the city. It was placed in the centre of the Core Area of the City. 

It was a place where only the strongest of the strong were allowed to enter. Many people in the Kingdom dreamt of one day meeting the Queen and working for her. 

This was also the place where Xue was robbed of her Celestial Spirit and the previous king entrapped in the cellar. 

As the sunlight reflected off the palace's glistening towers, the palace appeared like it was a palace from heaven. 

Xu Shan came closer to the Palace. Unfortunately, this place was very secure. Along the way, he hadn't seen guards as all of them had left the core area to deal with the Demons, but it was different for the palace guards. 

Even though the entire city was void of the Guards, the Palace was still heavily guarded, with each of the guards being strong.
