Bab 14: Kane, a freak
'How is he still the same?'
He couldn't believe his eyes when he was fixated on the guy with black hair and a blindfold. The man he wanted to see the most, and the only man that provided him the light of hope when he was desperate.
It was none other than Ravi.
He saw him when Ravi and Sophia were having a little quarrel with two other students. And before he could go to talk to them, they both left from there.
But he didn't become sad; instead, now he has a reason to go to the academy. If they are here, then it can only be for a single reason. But he still doubted if Ravi was also going to the academy because, if he remembered correctly, he hadn't changed in all these years.
His doubt didn't last for long as well. After arriving at the hotel, he was also assigned a room with a partner, and as if the god himself had blessed him, his roommate was none other than Ravi himself.
Opening the door, he entered the room and found Ravi sitting at the end of the room while looking out of the windows with his blindfold still on.
He didn't even care if someone had entered the room. He like a calm ocean, didn't have a ripple on his face and was just looking outside.
"Hey..." The red-haired guy tried to greet Ravi and waved his hands.
He was expecting him to reply to him; he, like a fanboy, was eager to hear his kice again, who gave him much-needed motivation and strength when he lost his everything.
For two whole years, he has been trying to increase his strength; even in prison, he never stopped and practiced his ability on the prisoners that he hated the most.
Ravi turned towards him after a while, even though his eyes were blindfolded; the red-haired guy, whose name was Kane, felt that Ravi was looking at his soul.
His senses began to tingle and he couldn't describe his fear. He felt like he was being looked at by a demon and felt as if he was in hell, though he didn't know what the hell was.
'Why am I feeling this scared? I didn't feel like this when I saw him 2 years ago.'
Kane calmed himself took a deep breath and decided to ask Ravi,
"Do you remember me?"
He knew it was difficult because a lot of things had changed in him; he didn't look anything like he used to 2 years ago. But he still held a little expectation in his heart.
"You... are that kid from before."
Kane immediately knew what time he was talking about, his face bloomed with a smile. He felt like his role model, whom he had met for just one time, recognized him. He couldn't express his excitement.
If anyone else who knew him saw him like that, then they would not believe their eyes.
"Are you also going to the academy?" Kane asked.
If Ravi was also going to the academy, then he would gladly go there without a hitch.
Ravi became silent at Kane's question and, without saying a word, walked out of that room. He was still walking slowly as if carrying a heavy load in his back; his posture was also shrunken a bit, and he looked like an old man with back pain.
Kane felt it strange, the way he walked and was so aloof... he doesn't remember him being like that.
As he remembers him, he was strong. He was the one because of whom he became what he is now and now his role model looks like that. He couldn't believe it.
Ravi walked out of the room and closed the door.
'What has happened with him? He seems so defeated.'
He didn't know anything about Ravi. So doesn't know how he became like that as well. But he couldn't fathom someone like him being in such a state.
He was about to follow behind him when he also heard the announcement.
"All the students that have come to take the entrance for the Pis Aller academy are requested to arrive in the hall. We are beginning to explain the rules for the entrance examination."
After hearing the announcement, he blurted out.
"Fuck, is he going or not? He must be, right? He is in this hotel... Damn it, man. That old shit, how am I supposed to live with this bunch of arrogant shitholes. These chickens haven't even hatched yet and are so full of themselves."
He exclaimed, remembering the things he encountered when he arrived here. Most of the students he met were arrogant and proud of themselves.
"It would have been great if I was still in that prison, just torturing the new criminals and killing them was much fun. And now, I have to live with these kids. Fuck that old dickhead!"

Knock... Knock...
Kane raised his middle finger and imagined him standing in front of him and cursed at him.
"FUCK YOU!!!"
At that same moment, Sophia and Anna stood outside the room and knocked when Kane cursed at that jailor.
Kane heard that knocking sound and went to open the door.
Creak...
Opening the door, he met face-to-face with Anna and Sophia, two stunningly beautiful women.
Sophia was just looking at him with no emotions and Anna with a disgusted face.
Both of them heard him cursing inside. Anna couldn't help but think to herself,
'Is this the boyfriend she was talking about? He looks like a freak."
